Richard Wallis
Wallis Osteopathy is my home based practice in Alphington, Melbourne. I was practicing in Melbourne at Hillside Osteopathy, Glen Iris for 26 years, but I have recently started working from home.
I studied Osteopathy at RMIT graduating 1997 and have been studying ever since. I was always looking for a profession where I would continue to learn, and practicing Osteopathy has been very fulfilling.
I am motivated to help my patients long term health improve. I am interested in working out the cause of my patients conditions rather than treating just their symptoms.
I have been lucky in my Osteopathic journey to have been taught and mentored by many amazing teachers of Osteopathy. They have contributed through interest, study, experience, and learning to the way I practice now. I am actively involved with studying and teaching Osteopathic philosophy and principles at a postgraduate level. Since starting to study Osteopathy in 1992 I have sought to understand the traditional teachings of A T Still the founder of Osteopathy.
